View Metrics
The Metrics section provides insight into volunteer participation and scheduling balance.
It allows administrators to see how often each volunteer has been scheduled and helps ensure responsibilities are distributed fairly.
What You Can See
Within Metrics you can view:
- How many assignments each volunteer has received
- Who is serving frequently
- Who has not been scheduled recently
- Overall ministry coverage
This helps prevent the same individuals from being scheduled too often while others are rarely serving.
Why Metrics Are Helpful
Metrics help administrators:
- Avoid volunteer burnout
- Balance ministry workloads
- Identify volunteers who may be ready to serve more
- Identify volunteers who may need a break
The scheduling system uses rotation rules, but Metrics allows you to verify the results and make adjustments if needed.
Using Metrics
You can review the list and then:
- Adjust volunteer eligibility
- Add additional volunteers
- Manually adjust future schedules
Metrics do not change the schedule automatically — they are a decision-making tool for administrators.
Important Notes
- Metrics update as schedules are created
- Published schedules are included in the counts
- Pending schedules may not appear until published
